That moment….
Severus Snape protecting Harry, Ron and Hermione in The Prisoner of Azkaban, and the moment he was knocked to the ground after being struck by Lupin. He cries out in pain but gets right back up and throws himself between the werewolf and the students again.
Also known as the moment I that fell in love with him forever.

And it’s like being a Gryffindor it’s the coolest thing, and the other houses are not so good. It is not nice to say that. Snape died as a brave Slytherin man and that’s all. And all houses are cool :)
I think what he did was better than dying like a Gryffindor. Gryffindors are fearless - not brave - they run into battle with out thinking about the consequences. I’ve always thought that Snape was afraid - but that he did what he needed to do anyway. This was summed up so well in “A Game of Thrones,” when Ned Stark tells his son that the only way you can really be brave is when you are afraid, and that always made me think of Snape and the true bravery of Slytherins - who know what will happen to them, like Snape, like Narcissa who are afraid - but who lie to the Dark Lord anyway knowing damn well what it will cost them.
But in the film, there was no scream - he was silent. He never once cried out in fear or pain. He was brave right up to the last moment…
“I am locked in my head
With what I’ve done
I know you tried to rescue me
Didn’t let anyone get in
Left with a trace of all that was
And all that could have been
Please
Take this
And run far away
Far away from me
I am
Tainted
The two of us
Were never meant to be
All these
Pieces
And promises and left behinds
If only I could see
In my
Nothing
You meant everything
Everything to me
Gone fading everything
And all that could have been
Please
Take this
And run far away
Far as you can see
I am
Tainted
And happiness and peace of mind
Were never meant for me
All these
Pieces
And promises and left behinds
If only I could see
In my
Nothing
You meant everything
Everything to me”

“I’m writing on a little piece of paper
I’m hoping someday you might find
Well I’ll hide it behind something
They won’t look behind
I’m still inside here
A little bit comes bleeding through
I wish this could have been any other way
But I just don’t know, I don’t know what else I can do”
